২০২৩ সালের উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষার ফলাফলে, প্রথম হয়েছেন নরেন্দ্রপুর রামকৃষ্ণ মিশন বিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র শুভ্রাংশু সর্দার। তাঁর প্রাপ্ত নম্বর ৫০০’র মধ্যে ৪৯৬। শতাংশের হিসেবে ৯৯.২ শতাংশ। পাশাপাশি দ্বিতীয় স্থানে যুগ্ম ভাবে রয়েছেন উত্তর দিনাজপুরের আবু সানা এবং বাঁকুড়ার সুষমা পাল। তাঁরা দুইজনই ৪৯৫ নম্বর পেয়েছেন। তৃতীয় স্থানে রয়েছেন ৩ জন। বালুরঘাটের অনুসূয়া সাহা, আলিপুরদুয়ারের পিয়ালী দাস এবং তমলুকের চন্দ্রবিন্দু মাইতি। তাঁরা তিন জনেই ৪৯৪ নম্বর পেয়েছেন। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদের দেওয়া তথ্য অনুযায়ী, ২০২৩ উচ্চ মাধ্যমিকের পাশের হার ৮৯.২৫ শতাংশ। আগের বছর গুলির তুলনায় এই বছর হয়েছে উলট পুরাণ। পাশের হারে ছাত্রীদের টেক্কা দিয়েছে ছাত্ররা। ছাত্রদের পাশের হার ৯১.৮৬ শতাংশ। ছাত্রীদের ক্ষেত্রে সেটি ৮৭.২৭ শতাংশ। সংসদ জানিয়েছে, পাশের হারে এগিয়ে রয়েছে পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর।
